PASTORAL TRAINING

His Appointed Time Ministries has been blessed to know about 100 churches in remote villages in Guatemala. These churches are independent and most of the pastors have followed the call to serve others and share the gospel with no salary. As the conditions of the villages make it hard for them to afford training, we have hosted several pastors’ conferences in the past, at no cost for them. Giving them a break from their daily routine and the training and spiritual food that we all need to receive.

Charlie Reynolds, missionary serving in Guatemala, leads these trainings, either through teams that come from the States, or small group training. Charlie hosts once a month training with groups from 8-12 pastors at a time. Pastors come for a day of teaching, and fellowship, but we are also blessed to help those who need provision with food baskets for their families. The impact of these trainings is an endless wave that can change Guatemala.

As of August 2020, churches in Guatemala and all reunions are forbidden, due to Covid-19. We are blessed to stay in touch with the pastors through phone calls, video chats, or texts. We are now partnering with them to distribute food baskets in their villages to help the most needed and vulnerable in the country.

Please help us pray for those that are in extreme need and for the churches in remote villages, where the lack of internet or television makes it hard for churches to share the gospel.
